{"id":1703,"date":"2010-08-04T18:47:39","date_gmt":"2010-08-04T18:47:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.newlistener.co.uk\/home\/?p=1703"},"modified":"2010-08-04T18:54:42","modified_gmt":"2010-08-04T18:54:42","slug":"prel-committee-call-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newlistener.co.uk\/home\/prel-committee-call-update\/","title":{"rendered":"PREL Committee Call Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Received from Fiona Radic dated 4 August 2010  16:45<br \/>\nFrom: Peterborough For Responsible Waste Management (ProFoRWM)<br \/>\n <strong>Seeking nominations for Social Responsibility Committee (SRC)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Is there anyone in your community or in a local organization who might be interested in serving on the Social Responsibility Committee which is being set up in relation to the proposed Peterborough Energypark?<br \/>\n Perhaps you would be interested in becoming a member of the committee yourself?<br \/>\n <!--more--><br \/>\nThe purpose of the SRC is to scrutinise the implementation and management of Peterborough Renewable Energy\u2019s (PREL&#8217;s) environmental management system; to oversee PREL\u2019s compliance with applicable environmental and health &#038; safety legislation; to assure independent evaluation of the company\u2019s environmental and health &#038; safety performance; and to support and advise PREL\u2019s Community Cohesion Committee in its objects. <a rel=\"noindex,nofollow\"href=\"http:\/\/www.prel-online.co.uk\/prel\/index.html\"target=\"new\">http:\/\/www.prel-online.co.uk\/prel\/index.html<\/a><br \/>\n ProFoRWM has been working closely with Peterborough Renewable Energy Ltd in preparing for the formation of the SRC and we have been asked to invite local community groups to nominate suitable persons to represent them on the committee.
