Tacklefest Hit By River Nene Weed Growth

An infestation of river weed has postponed Tacklefest , cancelled the Peterborough City Rowing Club Junior Regatta, and anglers report the river is unfishable. Ken Wade a Peterborough angler describes the problem. His interview is followed by another interview with a spokesman from the Environment Agency who puts their side of the story. Broadcast at 07:22 and 08:37 respectively on Thursday July 1st in the Paul Stainton Breakfast Show on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
