Seeking nominations for Social Responsibility Committee (SRC)

Is there anyone in your community or in a local organization who might be interested in serving on the Social Responsibility Committee which is being set up in relation to the proposed Peterborough Energypark?
Perhaps you would be interested in becoming a member of the committee yourself?

The purpose of the SRC is to scrutinise the implementation and management of Peterborough Renewable Energy’s (PREL’s) environmental management system; to oversee PREL’s compliance with applicable environmental and health & safety legislation; to assure independent evaluation of the company’s environmental and health & safety performance; and to support and advise PREL’s Community Cohesion Committee in its objects. http://www.prel-online.co.uk/prel/index.html
ProFoRWM has been working closely with Peterborough Renewable Energy Ltd in preparing for the formation of the SRC and we have been asked to invite local community groups to nominate suitable persons to represent them on the committee. We are seeking one representative from each of four different groups, including two from local residents’ associations.
It is expected that the committee will meet at two monthly intervals with occasional additional meetings.
Interested groups are invited to submit their nominations (one per group) to ProFoRWM, together with an application from the nominated individual giving their contact details, stating their reasons for wishing to serve and indicating any experience they may have that could be particularly useful to the committee.

Nominations/applications should be sent by 20th September to
Sally Plummer, 9 Franklyn Crescent, Peterborough, PE1 5NE
or by e-mail to info@proforwm.org.uk
Please telephone Sally on Peterborough 343770 or email if you require further information.
